The UP Center for Ethnomusicology hosted the monthly Flag Raising Ceremony at the UP College of Music, with performances from Komparsa Diliman, composed of staff and friends of UPCE.

We were also blessed with a message from our outgoing Director, Dr. LaVerne David C. de la Peña.

“Huwag kayo masyado maging busy sa mga pang araw-araw na kabusyhan, dahil iyong 50 years ay napakabilis lang pala noon.”

“Don’t get too engrossed with the daily hustle, because I’ve come to realize those 50 years flew by in the blink of an eye.”
